Japanese chain United Cinemas trusted our distributor in Japan, Eizou, for the installation of projection and sound equipment during the renovation of these 7 cinemas. 

We delivered 15 x LW 5117-BI screen systems for the medium rooms and 6 x LW 5109-BI-TRI 4 WAY COAXIAL screen systems for the two large ones. Every room used LW 6115 subwoofers, while the amplification was driven by 34 of our MUK440 4-channel amplifiers, specially prepared for 100V. voltage in order to optimize energy consumption.

The challenge was the development and manufacture of custom passive filters for the screen systems, since the client chose bi-amplified models but the building did not have the double wiring needed to bi-amplify.
The result has been perfect!
